Seem

Watching the snails in the fast lane in the back garden, they seemed to be enjoying the rain this morning. The robin family seems to enjoy coming out in the rain .
Enjoyed the rain this morning with the patio door opened and watching and listening to the rain very relaxing

Visitors

The robin family have been visiting often which brings great pleasure. Making the most of them as they will soon fly away and start a new life for themselves but hope they stay near.

Robin Family

Had some visitors in the garden, the robin family. Mum dad and 3 youngsters. I seen one of them already the day before as it’s got white tipped wings like it’s dad. But the other 2 haven’t got white tipped wings. It was so nice to see them hopping here there and everywhere, exploring the honeysuckle and the trees and hedge. They are so cute and perfect. Made my day ! And one came to the patio wind and had a good look in and it was so gorgeous to look at the bright eyes the perfect way of the feathers. It was heaven.

White Balloon.

A small white balloon scurries past the great big grey storm clouds trying to hide from them, but it didn’t have to , as the storm clouds themselves raced past and didn’t drop any rain.

Two Snails

Two snails on the upturned old washing up bowl, doing what comes naturally in the rain. Looked quite cute .
More like April weather sunshine and showers.

The crow flew past a tree and disturbed the midgets that were buzzing around the tree in a frenzy.

Just Like Dad

While waiting for a friend , looking at the silvery raindrops on the green leaves of the shrub next to me . The green highlighted the silvery raindrops.
A big treat today, I saw one of the young robins whose nest is in my hedge at the back , he flew onto the fence and stayed awhile and I know he belongs to my resident robin as he has got white tipped wing feathers just like his dad.

Dank and Gloomy

A dank gloomy day more like a winter’s day. Even the birds are hiding, but it’s quite warm and a bit muggy. Now the first rain drops have fallen. But who knows the weather might be glorious later but I doubt it.

Snail and Magpie

A small snail moving very slowly underneath a lavender bush. A magpie flew overhead so close that I felt it’s wings feathers.

Melodic

A blackbird decides to sing in the pouring rain and with the music of the rain in the background made for a melodic few minutes.
It’s tipping down again with the rain and slugs and snails are under cover . Nearly step on a big fat worm!

Intelligent

More like a late rainy autumn day than a summer day.
We were told that the food bins we use were animal proof! Could you please tell that to the foxes round here. The managed to knock mine over and opened the lid, which I know I closed properly, but they didn’t find much apart from  a few tea bags and a mouldy orange. Foxes round here are very intelligent .

Great Rage.

The feisty robin flew with a great rage at next doors cat and the cat was so startled that it ran off so quick, never seen it move so quick. And the robin was so loud it was if it was shouting.

Contrast.

The contrast of today’s weather and yesterday’s, today is dull overcast and a bit chillier, yesterday was a very hot bright sky day .
The honeysuckle is now dying down naturally and it’s given the birds insects and butterflies a lot of pleasure. Looking to put a new honeysuckle along the other fence. And not forgetting a lot of pleasure for me!

Fortunately

Watching and listening to the hooded crows sitting on the sky dish and on the chimney pots, quite comical really , wondering if they was having an argument or a discussion.
Going out for a drive we came across cows in the road! They escaped from their field. Fortunately no cows were hurt and no humans!
