Sunny

 After a few days of lovely weather a grey dull morning was upon us then all of the sudden  the sun came out for a lovely sunny afternoon. 

Visitors

 Visitors galore . Blue tits great tits and a new one to me long tail tits. Finches of all sorts, then to spoil it all a metal bird in the sky! 

And the Fox is still with me. Yay! 

The Robins

 Just saw the resident robin in all his glory. His red breast and face such a beautiful shade of red. He is so handsome. Then the female robin did a dance on the fence so glad she picked him . The dance was like the very old song in and out the dusting bluebells 

Attractive

 The rain dapples the fence quite attractively. The raven drinking from the water butt scolds a passing cat. 

Walnut and Pigeon

 Sitting under a walnut tree with pigeons cooing away quite merrily in the walnut tree. And dead branches dropping all around in the wind.

Raven Sentry

 The rain washed the last bits of snow away. So much activity going on with the birds , seen a pair of bull finches busy in the garden next door. A raven has taken to sit on one of the tv aerials not sure if it is the same one he acts like a sentry! Bless him , he does that most days so think it is the same one.

Fox and Birds

 Accidentally disturbed the Fox when he saw it was me he settled down again. Saw a great tit in the apple tree having a good look around. The robin drank out of the water butt.  Seagulls circling overhead and calling . The wind is bitter but fresh at the same time . Then came along the blue tit. 

Come Back

 A seagull flies past low and steady as if not to drop the tasty morsel in its beak. The snow has stopped sun out and the birds are busy flying here there and everywhere. 

The handsome dog Fox is back ! So lucky to have him come back  and he knows he is safe here with me . 

Seaside

 Feel like that I am at the seaside as the seagulls are circling overhead calling each other. Snow is still coming down but very small flakes. But it’s not that bad. 

The snowflakes have landed

 It has finally happened the snow has arrived highlighting the greens browns and greys beautifully. But it’s more wet snow but a thin layer of it covering the ground. And it’s bitterly cold out there 

Water Butt

 The water butt is overflowing gently adding more little streams to the ground soon be a river. An other magpie pair have claimed a disused chimney pot. They are busy putting their new home to right.

Just About

 Across the field a small herd of deer just about can be seen . Not very often they are seen they keep themselves to themselves. Overhead a bird of prey hovers just before it pounces.
