Stand Off

A stand off between the squirrel and a cat who decided that it was it’s domain the garden . The squirrel sat on top of the small shed the cat down below,  there was a staring match for a while then the cat backs off as the squirrel was ready to pounce on the cat.

Squirrel shook its tail and carried on hoarding the sweet chestnuts in next doors garden.

Wind and rain is the order of the day , the wind swirling and the rain also swirling and then the sun pops out giving a rainbow chance to shine

Skeleton

The early morning sun shines through the skeletons of bare branches and a slight mist adds to the errieness.  The seagull sits on a post as the train hurtles pass and didn’t even beat a wing.

Chilly Air

The squirrel loves its new domain. Watching it as it was opening a sweet chestnut case, so quick but delicate.

Walked into the spider web and the spider was not happy!

A weak afternoon sun trying it’s best to warm the very damp and chilly air .

Humbled & Awed

The October chill is upon us. Bringing it’s welcomed scent some thing that cannot be described or even put in a bottle. Very windy though but the sun is out.

A spider has spun its web between the front wall and rubbish bin. So every time I go out I get greeted  by the spider, good job I like spiders. And watching how the web vibrates in the wind, it makes me humble and waxed at nature.

Crunch Crunch

The squirrel sits on top of the shed eating  a sweet chestnut in peace, looking very content. The sweet chestnut tree has not done well this year, but there is enough for the wildlife. The beech tree has done well, crunch crunch when you walk over them. The resident robin is shining but not to been seen .
